Description: During our Instructional Leadership course via California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), we were provided with the opportunity to use our acquired knowledge and skills to develop a one-day educational fair in the city of Maywood, California. On October 15, 2016, cohort eight hosted the eighth annual Maywood Education Fair. The annual Maywood Education Fair is an initiative that started back in 2009 by a MSHE student in efforts to increase the college going culture within Maywood and the surrounding communities that are underrepresented. My partner and I specifically were task to produce workshops for the High School students and their families as they attended the fair.
