In Reflection:
It was a great opportunity to support students in finding their strengths and understanding how their strengths with their peers can further create an organization that is centered around strengths. It was intriguing to have the opportunity to develop a workshop that would allow students to engage in dialogue to help understand their strengths and strategically think about how they work with one another. Student made the experience a great time as they were extremely engaged and asked questions that were essential to the space. Often times, in work environments, it is important to create opportunities that foster team building and collaboration. This is essential to our organization. As we continue to develop our student leaders, I think that it is critical to continue to further their development as leaders and continue to engage their development in professional growth opportunities. Self- Awareness is important, and I am glad that I had the chance to facilitate this workshop. Essentially, I chose to facilitate this workshop as it aligned with what I value personally as well. I find it really important to continue to further my public speaking and this served as a great opportunity.
