College of Education Annual Research Symposium Term: Spring 2017 Description: The College of Education, the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Program (Ed.D.), and the Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership (C-REAL) host an annual Research Symposium. The event features posters that identified solutions to educational problems based on applied research conducted by doctoral students from the P – 12 and Community College Leadership program specializations. The program includes a poster session by Ed.D. alumni, selected Master of Science students in the Educational Leadership Department, and other invited presenters. Presentation topics concentrate on P-12 and community college issues and implications for leadership, diversity, and access. Following the poster session, a panel discussion is held to further discuss their research and how the results of their studies can lead to different approaches to improving the research.
