Student African American Brotherhood: From a Moment to a Movement: 25 Years of Meaningful Impact and Change Term of : Fall 2015 Learning Domain(s): Leadership Personal and Professional Dvelopment Social Justice and Advocacy Education Description: "SAAB operates through student chapters where young men of color enjoy the privilege of social, cultural and spiritual enrichment. SAAB increases the number of African American and Latino men graduating from college by creating a positive peer community based on a spirit of caring," (SAAB, 2015) The 25th SAAB Anniversary Black Tie Gala October 17th 2015 gave members of the organization on the western region to come together and enjoy their cultural similarities and differences. Also, it served as a platform to acknowledge and highlight some of the great events, community works, and programs taking place yearly.
